Trump administration imposes limits on Mexican flights and threatens Delta alliance in trade dispute
AP - The Trump administration imposed new restrictions Saturday on flights from Mexico and threatened to end a longstanding partnership between Delta Air Lines and Aeromexico in response to limits the Mexican government placed on passenger and cargo flights into Mexico City several years ago.
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said Mexico's actions to force airlines to move out of the main Benito Juarez International Airport to the newer Felipe Angeles International Airport more than 30 miles (48.28 kilometers) away violated a trade agreement between the two countries and gave domestic airlines an unfair advantage. Mexico is the top foreign destination for Americans with more than 40 million passengers flying there last year.
"Joe Biden and Pete Buttigieg deliberately allowed Mexico to break our bilateral aviation agreement,” Duffy said, referring to the previous president and his transportation secretary. “That ends today. Let these actions serve as a warning to any country who thinks it can take advantage of the U.S., our carriers, and our market. America First means fighting for the fundamental principle of fairness.”

All Mexican passenger, cargo and charter airlines will now be required to submit their schedules to the Transportation Department and seek government approval of their flights until Duffy is satisfied with the way Mexico is treating U.S. airlines.

Floods in India, Bangladesh leave millions homeless, 18 dead
It's good the government sent out rescue teams from the militaries of India and Bangladesh, I heard something about this disaster on BBC radio two days ago. It's terrible news, when I watched the actual news clip of the flooded town I thought it necessary to call the authorities to explain to them to prepare for such a disaster if it were to happen in our town. We live inland far from the ocean, it hasn't rained here our weatherman was turnt up about the climate. You may know bangladesh often referred to as a nation of rivers, a large delta comprised of three significant rivers; the Ganges, Brahmaputra and Meghna. It is situated both in the Northern and Eastern hemispheres of the Earth. Bangladesh occupies an area of 148,460 sq. km (92248.7672 mile) in South Asia. Subsequently, Bangladesh is also one of the most flood-prone countries in the world. When the spring snows melt in the Himalayan Mountains the rivers often overflow running south to the sea. 2 Million saw their homes submerged not good when the rain pours, and some people are outside you can be struck by lightning. It's not safe working outside when it rains, that sounds odd to live without any rainfall. Constucting and upgrading mega structures should take a break. According to NASA, the polar ice caps are melting at an alarming rate of 9% per decade. I should be less worried about the American life and do everything possible to prepare for such an aftermath. It happens when you don't expect it, doomsday could happen right in front of you. It's unimaginable understanding that it really happened there.
Several train services were canceled in India amid the incessant downpour over the past five days. In southern Assam’s Haflong town, the railway station was underwater and flooded rivers deposited mud and silt along the rail tracks.
Flights at Osmani International Airport in Sylhet were suspended for three days as floodwaters almost reached the runway, according to Hafiz Ahmed, the airport manager. The Sylhet Sunamganj highway also was flooded but motorbikes were moving along.
Water levels in all major rivers across the country were rising, according to the flood forecasting and warning center in Dhaka, the capital. The country has about 130 rivers.
