Kremlin-backed rolling news channel RT breached British broadcasting rules on 29 separate occasions in the four days after Russia invaded Ukraine, according to a ruling by media regulator Ofcom.

The “serious and repeated” breaches of the UK’s rules on due impartiality are enough to warrant a sanction - but RT has already had its licence to broadcast in the UK revoked on separate grounds.

RT, formerly known as Russia Today, vanished from European television screens in March after the businesses that provided technical services to the channel were hit by EU sanctions. Ofcom then later revoked its licence to broadcast in the UK after concluding it was ultimately controlled by the Russia state - and not operated at arms length.

The UK’s due impartiality rules do not require equal airtime to opposing views and do allow broadcasting some leeway for politically-biased broadcasting. However, when dealing with matters such as armed conflict Ofcom requires broadcasters to take additional steps to preserve due impartiality” by including and giving due weight to a wide range of significant views”.

RT attempted to fight the punishment by saying it made a “sincere desire and effort” to maintain due impartiality in its coverage of the conflict and staff in the RT newsroom were “constantly reminded of the necessity to pay special attention to maintaining” due impartiality. However, Ofcom concluded it failed to represent an “appropriately wide range of significant viewpoints” when explaining the war in Ukraine to viewers.

Subsequently, Bangladesh is also one of the most flood-prone countries in the world. When the spring snows melt in the Himalayan Mountains the rivers often overflow running south to the sea. 2 Million saw their homes submerged not good when the rain pours, and some people are outside you can be struck by lightning. It's not safe working outside when it rains, that sounds odd to live without any rainfall. Constucting and upgrading mega structures should take a break. According to NASA, the polar ice caps are melting at an alarming rate of 9% per decade. I should be less worried about the American life and do everything possible to prepare for such an aftermath. It happens when you don't expect it, doomsday could happen right in front of you. It's unimaginable understanding that it really happened there.

Hello everybody, this is a status update to fill everybody in on what I'm thinking and busy doing. I am very saddened about the invasion of Ukraine. I'm focused on making it through hard times. I'm no hobo, yet, I seem to stay bogged down with this new cellphone. Lately, I'm distracted I can't follow up or pay attention wondering where did all the refugees go? following the raids and attacks which happened in Ukraine. With several blogs, I've only got time to duplicate the postings to create better content. Work isn't simply trying not to look high all the time, doing my hardest to pray and not fall off. I'm getting on Instagram but not getting anything from it, a response doesn't reflect on the message which happened. Have you heard already? currency exchange is all over the news. I understand your wanting to do things, go places, and how it works. I can furthermore state the cost of living has gone up. I miss the times I could go out to buy a nice television or grab something from the record shop because I dread being secluded. I just heard the news something is always happening, be careful outside when going to work. Even though the work I do pays, nowadays, spreading the news is only available thru online news sources or word of mouth. Legit hustling does pay off if you can keep busy by staying out of trouble and being a dependable person. Likewise, the information is available directly thru online/offline sources or word of mouth. Most times real journalism can sound real but it's fake news. How to benefit when you pay attention to the stock markets sounds very interesting, but it could be a massive object ready to produce big losses please be warned. I'd like for my efforts to pay off since I'm busy zooming around for rewards that maybe don't pay.
