A hundred-forty million orbits
Planet Earth's almighty terrorist,
And yet did not have a clue
How to not become extinct?
Creepy crawly cockroach-small
With dinosaurs cavorted
In hide-and-seek
As smilingly
As it assimilates our pesticides?
Homo sapiens narcistic-oversized
In diapers barely hiding mooning bums,
A mere two million runs
Around the sun
And yet already
Planet Earth's almighty terrorist
On the brink
